I was thinking that there are a lot of Lamy users out here, heck almost everyone must have tried a safari, if not a 2000, so maybe, just maybe, we could have a Lamy forum, just trying to see who is interested, not sure if the Admins or moderators are thinking about it or will act on it, but as just keen to see who might be interested in one.

And then if they do who we could get to act as a mod for the forum, MYU springs to mind, as he is a positive Lamy man, as am myself, but have not asked him, I too would do it, but do not want to blow my own trumpet...

Hi Shelley,

As much as I'd like a Lamy forum myself (I have all the Safaris, Al-Stars, Vista and Calligraphy pens, except the latest blue metallic Al-Star, and the earliest oilive green Safari), at this moment in time it is not enough of a substantial stream of topics or posts. We have analyzed the topics and posts before coming up with the current brand and regional pen forums setup, and Lamy unfortunately only consists of a very low percentage of the total number of pen posts and topics, in our collective opinion too smal to warrant its own forum currently.

We do keep track of the numbers, though, and you can rest assured that if this does change, we will seriously consider adding such a forum.

Warm regards, Wim
