Flex nibs? What sort of pens are they in?

I collect many different types of pens. I have a few wonderful old Waterman's that are very flexy, also a few Brause piston filled pens with some nice flex. I am no snob to pens i enjoy gold as well as steel nibbed pens. The most important thing to me is that they write smoothly, and are a joy to look at.
