All inks (except the one noted) are bottled ink. All color names were written with a Speedball B-6 steel dip nib.

These are photos taken without flash, then adjusted to be consistent with each other and to match what I see (to the extent possible on my particular monitor). I hope they are useful to someone.

I posted some of my other blues in another post. I don't actually own all of these; some are just samples.

- Sheaffer Turquoise (cartridge; here as a reference point)

- Diamine Florida Blue (a cheerful medium blue, a slight hint of turquoise when compared with Diamine Royal Blue)

- Diamine Royal Blue (a cheerful medium blue, similar to Noodler's Blue but not as opaque and slightly lighter)

- J. Herbin Bleu Myosotis (a more subdued medium blue with slight hints of violet, similar to Sheaffer Blue but slightly duskier and a hint more violet)

- Caran D'Ache Blue Sky (similar to the Bleu Myosotis, but bolder, less shading)

- Sailor Blue (dark blue, slightly dusky; shows shading but it's a very concentrated ink--it stained my fingers for days, despite a lot of hand-washing; when applied with a wet writer, a reddish halo can be seen)

- Noodler's Blue Black (very dark blue-black with a touch of green; reminds me of a blacker version of Diamine Blue Black because of that slight greenish tint)
