This is probably ultra basic for some of you, but I hope you will indulge the newbie smile.gif

On the Pelikan M200s, have the accents always been gold or have they made them with silver clips and bands as well? I seem to be more partial to the silver accents which is why I'm leaning toward the M215 but didn't know if there's something I could be missing. I wish they made a transparent (like those discontinued) with silver. Perhaps they do/did? Thanks for any help on this smile.gif

Hello Kelly!

As I recall, all of the M200's and the m400's have gold trim. The m215, as you mentioned, has silver trim. Also, there are a few models that have a '5' at the end -- m405, m605, m805 --that also have silver trim. I have an m605 that has an all blue exterior and silver trim.

I think the silver trim looks better. smile.gif

Hey there!
Thanks for that speedy reply! I would love to get a M425s in green with the silver accent - those look like such great pens but a tad out of the price range! I must say I'm pretty envious of your M605, sounds like a beauty. Maybe Pelikan started making the 215 because of silver requests on the smaller, less expensive pens? Just a thought. I hope they come out with a transparent with silver, too. biggrin.gif

I thought it was just me. I'm sure I'll come around to gold as well but right (write!) now, it's all about silver.
