For Sale: A gold Waltham pocket watch in excellent working order, and keeps accurate time. It’s numbered 2930431 which is engraved into the inside of the rear door/cover (half hunter). Both the rear door and front glass doors are hinged at 6:00. The stem winds the watch and sets the time. The small seconds display is between 5 and 7:00, and truncating the top of the 6. The deeply blued dial hands, and glass are perfect with black Arabic numerals. I would say the case is either 10K or 14K yellow gold and showing little to normal wear. The ring around the crown is fully functional. There are minutes and seconds index marks. “Waltham” is printed at the top of an inner circle on the dial. The case diameter is one and seven eighths inches wide. Inside the rear inside door (2 doors lead you to the movement) there is the same stamped number “2930431”, and “Wadsworth”, and “Referee Warranted 20 Years”, which are all nicely engraved. The entire movement has beautiful hand tooled engraving and includes “15 Jewels Waltham Watch Co. 1853181G”. The movement serial number dates back to 1882.
I'm asking $95 plus $15 for shipping, packaging, insurance, CONUS USA only. Payment can be made via money order or personal check.
Thanks, Dennis

If it is a 20 year case, it is neither 10K or 14K gold. 20 year and 30 year cases are gold filled. Is the watch a 16 or 18 size? It sounds as though it is a hunting case with dust cover. A picture would be a big help.

Agreed. It sounds like something that I might be interested in, but I'd like to see photos first...

I'm not sure how to include pics here. But, I can email them to you. Maybe you could PM me with your email addresses?

I now have pics available, albeit, not great pics, as the camera's anti-shake thing isn't working. While the pics in no way do this watch justice, I can email the pics to you as I don't know how to included them here.
I also should mention that the watch has been checked out by a local watch and clock repair shop and passes muster, and he is the one that actually recommended a higher price than the one I've listed.
Thank you for your consideration.

Putting the photos on the seller's behalf. He has mailed me the photos earlier.
Edited to add that I have seller's permission to upload the photos.
