So I'm considering selling my set of 3-ribbed transitional Estie J's. I have all 6 colors, all of them have been restored and are in good working condition. I'm wondering what I could reasonably expect to get for them. One of them has an 8668 nib as well that I may throw in the mix.

Probably around $240. However the way you are selling them, they are only going to interest Esterbrook collectors. No one is going to spend that kind of money for a writing pen. I would consider selling them seperately in the marketplace, not as a lot.

I agree. As I have some of what you have I wouldn't need the whole set (of course this assumes I would have any money to throw at it rolleyes.gif ). Now if someone wanted to they could re-sale what they don't need or the other option is to find someone getting started in Esterbrook.

I will admit that the 8668 nib sweetens the pot a little.
