I collect mainly Parker 51s but I've had this Wahl Eversharp Gold Seal Ring Top that belonged to my wife's grandmother. I've looked at the Pen Sac Company website to order a sac and according to his mathematical formula I need a size 20. According to his catalog, however, I think I might need a 21 necked sac. Would someone please give me some guidance? Thank You!

The Wahl Ladies/Vest Pocket Ring Top takes a 20 Straight sac. And even that might turn out a little snug unless you remove ALL the accumulated light crud and rubber adhesions that tend to build up over the years. So sometimes a 19 is the best fit. Resist the temptation to max the ink capacity with the largest sac, as you may find that given rise and fall in tmperature or atmospheric pressure, you may find out why they call them fountain pens

Hope that answers the question.

The barrel is clean so I'll go with a 20 Straight sac. Thanks, Syd.
