Hi all,

I started this for my personal use, some suggested that I post it here. I've updated it as of Feb 29th. Feel free to contact me with data to add, papers to add, or to fill in gaps in the table.

So here it is (in PDF ). If you would prefer a different format let me know that too and I'll see what I can do.

Also if you want to (not necessary though) send me a sample of paper you have reviewed I'll do my best to be a common reference to compare them all for the big ones... Surface texture, bleed, and feather...

You can add to the list:
Synergy Bond Linen Natural paper, 24 lb - SMART papers at Staples
It looked pretty fancy and thought is would make a beautiful letter head.... except I found it feathered too much for my taste. I like off white.
Now there's also the cotton and laid texture. Which I didn't try but I have a feeling it would feather just as bad. Too bad the non feathering HP papers don't come in off white.

Thanks to the forums I picked a better paper this time around. I bought some of the HP Color Laser 28lb to replace it... $16 or so for 500 sheets, but lovely stuff. It has such a lovely smooth feel to the finger tips and when writing. It doesn't feather the worst inks and has a much more substantial thickness than the usual 20lb paper. I think I'm going to enjoy it! It's like having looseleaf Claire Fontaine paper.

Thanks. I'll include it in the next update.

I also am using the HP 28 lb Colour laser paper right now and am enjoying it.
