If you mean Italic Medium by IM, I assume that that is the 1.1 mm version, and that is about 1.1 mm wide. I have seen variations between 1.05 and 1.10 mm.

Similarly for the 0.9 I have seen 0.90 to 0.95 mm, and for the 1.3 mm, which I think is not available with the Suprema Nuda, 1.30 to 1.35 mm.

I am referring here to writing width. Obviously it depends a bit on the ink and paper used, but I use WM BB and a good European college notepad or decent quality laser printer paper as a reference.

I don't know about any deals on the Suprema Nuda, unfortunately.

Hi, thanks for the previous info. Do you know if a Suprema is bigger tthan an Etruria (both demonstrators).
Also how does the nib come out, and how stain prone are they

They are about the same size, just have a different shape. If I understand it well, it may be that the Suprema holds more ink than the Etruria.

I would think that the Suprema nib screws out, as they share the nib construction of a nib/feed/collar assembly that is threaded, à la Pelikan IOW. The Etruria Nuda nib assembly does screw out for sure. And older versions of the standard Supremas also do.

They are as stain prone as any transparant acrylic pen. Essentially, this means that staining is not too bad, except with the usual suspects (certain red and violet inks), but you do see every little spot of ink in the cap and body, and you only become aware of where the ink can settle when you do have a transparant pen like any of these two biggrin.gif. So, you have to be able to live with that, because removing the ink from some spots would really mean taking the pen apart completely. Rinsing alone doesn't do the trick smile.gif.
