While searching for fountain pens online, I came across a pen by Visconti called the "Lacerba." Does anyone have any information about this pen? It seems to be available in Italy but no where else. I also believe it to be a LE.

I find the design striking and I'm very interested in acquiring this pen.

Thanks

Eureka! I've found the answer to my own question. I've been contacted by the Italian Company that sells this pen exclusively (Vallechi Spa).

At present they do not have distributors abroad.

I thought I would update this inquiry as so many of you have taken the time to read my post.

Oh, my, this is a beauty. A pen based on Italian Futurist free-form poetry! LACERBA was the great Futurist journal. Futurists were aggressively Fascist and believed in violence. ("the destructive arm of the anarchist! The beautiful ideas that kill!") I don't know if they would have approved of such a luxury item (" destroy the museums, the libraries!"), but still...their poetic and visual experiments are exciting.

Is this pen available in the USA? It must cost a pretty penny...

Palladin thank you for the inside info. I'm a little reluctant to purchase the pen given the fascist connection. But I do like the idea of a writing instrument decorated with writing.

This pen is not available in the US, and I awaiting a price quote from Italy. My guess is that it may be a bit beyond my budget at this time. We'll see...

Also my "tag line", Have Pen, Will Write is a variation on Palladin's "Have Gun, Will Travel" based on the Sixties tv show that starred Richard Boone. But you probably already know that.
