Ask Ron Dutcher. He knows his Japanese pens pretty well and also knows where to find them. He posts under the name Kamakura-Pens.

Pen shows are probably your best choice, but the other avenues are good.

Also, find people who love vintage Japanese pens. We have a few around these parts.
