Odd question:

Are these ABC pens still in production? These look like a really fun thing for kids, but realistically I'm at least five years away from introducing my own kids to the joys of a good pen.

Are these an item that are currently (and possibly in the future) being produced, or should I look to 'store' one of these for awhile?

They are still in production. The Lamy ABC is a popular starter pen that is used in German primary schools to introduce little children to writing with a fountain pen. I don't think it will be discontinued soon.

Just a note, I have the pencils back in stock,
as well as plenty of the blue & red fountain pens.
The new pencils that came in, now have a pencil sharpener with them.
