Full Version: How to revitalise dried out Quink?

I bought a couple of bottles of Solv-X Quink (Red & Green) 25+ years ago. I've been looking for them for a while, and yesterday I discovered them in a drawer I've looked in dozens of times during the search. I've come to the conclusion that our resident ghost has returned them...
Unfortunately the red Quink was totally dry in the bottom of the bottle. When I added water, all the solids dissolved, however I'm wondering if I need to add any other solvents to get the ink back to full working order.

Any thoughts?

Regards

Richard.

You might want to let it sit for a couple of days to see if it develops SITB. I had some red Quink that inexplicably turned to slime when I added water just to compensate for evaporation. I tossed the ink out and kept the diamond-shaped bottle.
