I have been interested in obtaining a nicer Danitrio for some time. Miki has two. My taste is simpler than hers. Kevin obliged with several semi-prototypes for sale. I was fortunate to obtain this beauty. It has several sterling plaques inlaid into the ebonite. The two big ones are the phoenix and dragon. I have a fondness for sterling, so this attracted me immediately.
Below are some others that found a place in my folder. From top to bottom.
Parker 51 made in Argentina. Thought is was interested to have one. Not very special. From a seller from Argentina, of course.
Pilot in bamboo pattern. 1975. Obtained in trade. Longed for one of these for several years. To my surprise, it appears to be silver plate.
Parker-Eversharp Made in Argentina. Like the styling and one can assemble a neat collection fairly inexpensively.
Penol Note the similarity of the clip on this and the Parker-Eversharp. Penol is a Danish firm that marketed Parkers on license. This must be their version of the fountain pen model.
Pilot A wee pair of stainless steel MP and BP set.
A few more.
Platinum hiramakie. Have seem quite a few with a black background. This is the first done over red. Looks 10,000 times better. Obtained in a trade. Nice BROAD nib too.
Two by Sailor. These pens came from two dealers. Always amazed at what turns up. Beautiful celluloid on each.
