I know that the general discussion is around fountain pens, but unfortunately I find them a bit too fragile to use for work as an everyday pen. Therefore, I use the mb ballpoints.

Alas, I was wondering whether other mb bp users have the same experience. I notice that when I write at certain angles or side of the pen there is a little give in the point so I have to rotate it around to find a section that doesn't have any give, this is really hard to describe and really annoying. I went to TAFTS and asked them how to fix, no solution. I tried one of the other new mb's there and it has some give but not as much as mine. My solitaire is solid and does not have the same give and the 161.

I have changed the spring and that hasn't helped.
