Hi all, I just discovered this site and it has already proved useful reading as a guest. So I thought I would join in the discussions and seek advice from others who have been bitten by the fountain pen bug. I have started collecting a few pens priced at the lower end of the market as my income doesn't permit anything else. I have got a few Parker pens, a Slimfold,a 17, a couple of 45's, and two Rialto's to name a few.I also have pens by Waterman, Sheaffer, and Conway Stewart, though not all are in working order.

Hello and Welcome

Hi Whippet, welcome in and good to see another Slimfold user (I think they're great pens).

Welcome to the forum. May I suggest you visit the Repairs section? Some of those out of order pens may find a solution there.

Hi Whippet and welcome.

Whereabouts in Yorkshire are you?

Ah ha! Another Brit joins the fold. Welcome along. I used to live in Leeds, wore the green suit in Catterick and Harrogate and lived briefly outside of York so I know the area reasonably well

Welcome to FPN.

I agree with Pen Nut - Yorkshire Sunny ???

Now I'm not all that far away in Ireland but sunny tends to be a theoretical notion to anyone living in Ireland or anywhere close to Ireland .....

Anyway - Welcome to the FPN thumbup.gif
