Dear fellow paper and pen nuts,

Russel from Nota Bene asked me to share this with the FPN members, he is offering a special online 20% sale.

"Our way of thanking everyone that has
supported both the Whitelines and our internet store over the last few months.
This promotion is not available in the store it is exclusive to our
'out-of-town' customers. Everything on the web has been discounted by 20% and
the sale ends Sunday, March 16th."

Just go to the web store at http://www.nota-bene.ca/cgi-bin/online/storepro.php and you will see the price reduction. Shipping is flat rate at 12.50$ for shipment under 75$.
Don't hesitate to write or phone in your questions.

You will find Apica, Whitelines, Rhodia, Moleskine and the new Atoma paper from Belgium.

If you have any questions, I will be happy to forward them to Russel on my next visit.

omg! puddle.gif I've been looking for loose Clairefontaine paper! And the Whitelines and Atoma notebooks look really cool! biggrin.gif

Woohoo!

I just got my first order from them this week: loose, Seyes-Ruled, Clairefontaine paper; Whitelines; and a bit of lagniappe & a lovely note from Russell. I'd be happy to buy from him again.
Samovar
One of my student last year used Clairefontaine loose leaf, I think I might have gave him a better grade just for the quality of the paper roflmho.gif

I forgot to mention, Russel will make a donation to FPN at the end of the sale. Please mention you saw this post on FPN.
I'm still trying to convince him to join FPN by the way hmm1.gif

He also suggested that members of FPN visiting Montreal should write to him, he will make sure to be at the store to welcome you all.

Just a reminder, you still got 10 more days to take advantage of this great sale.

Love to get some of the loose leaf French ruled paper but the shipping takes it off my plate.

How can you resist loose leaf paper? wink.gif
Is it really expensive considering that paper is heavy?
Cheers

Such discipline! I always just order more other stuff so that the shipping is worth it. I'd gotten the loose-leaf, French-ruled paper in both single & double copy last time, so this time I bought the A5 size, some ink for my Lamy, and an Atoma A5 French ruled notebook, with which I am very pleased! cloud9.gif

Atoma is the biggest temptation for me - I got some Myndology notebooks a while back, and have used them enough now to know that I really like them. Atoma is essentially the same thing. I'm still waffling though - most of the other stuff I want, like the Apica, is sold out. Still. Hard to resist.

I got a small Atoma notebook when he brough them in and I really like it. There was plenty of them last time I was at the store.
The paper has a bit more tooth than Clairefontaine.
I bought 80 small CD-5 Apica, sorry folks embarrassed_smile.gif
My students are simply crazy about them.

I just picked up my order from the Post Office... Clairefontaine loose leaf, Rhodia A5, and Whitelines. Unfortunately, I have to let it set on my desk until I get an RFI out. crybaby.gif
Samovar
What is a RFI? Just curious...

Sorry, I am bad about using acronyms.

RFI - Request for Information. My company is looking for a technology item and we send our requirements to several vendors asking for detailed information to be disclosed under a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement.

Only 4 more days, Russel is waiting by the phone...

Hey I got my order of whitelines last night, after the USPS held it hostage for too long. Russel has great service and thanks to you for cluing me in to this vendor.

Samovar
I stopped at Nota Bene and Russel told me he might extend the sale for a few more days. He is experiencing difficulties with his web shopping cart and it seem he can't change the price after March 16 without shutting his whole website down.
I know he is looking into a better web shopping cart to make shopping at Nota-Bene a nicer experience. From what I understand, you guys have a few more days to order beyond the March 16 deadline.

Russel is really sorry about the delay in the shipping, Canada Post is a weird service. It's often faster to ship to England than shipping in the US. If you are waiting for a package, please be patient, it will get there. We both had strange experiences with the postal system, but our packages always make it.

Cheers
