Hi,

Can anyone post a picture of the vials of the exchange program? I can't find one through the forums... lots of explanations, but no picture.

I'd like to get some, but depending on what they are (and can be used for), I'll order more or less.

Thanks

I can definitely snap a photo of one, but not until tonight.

I find it is helpful to keep about 40 on hand.

40, all for exchange, or some for mixing, some for travelling, some for the office...?

Thanks!

They were chosen because they were lightweight, *usually* leak-resistant (gotta watch cross-threading when putting cap on), and large enough to accommodate most nibs for filling. Plus, cheap enough not to cost us a fortune.

I don't know if Dillon uses the same source, this is the source I used originally. It's a pain to store 1000 vials (or the 250 vial flat) so it's nice to be able to get 40 or 50 at a time from Dillon.

I'd think the 1000 caps at a time might be a bigger pain. smile.gif

(It's nothing compared to 1800 skeins of yarn, I'll grant you.)

True. They are annoying. I was happy when Dillon took over. Thanks, Dillo!

yarn. Bleah. I've got enough trouble with having to store all the DMC colors plus have the Anchor colors and since I started Hardanger, a whole bunch of both in perle coton.
