Hello all,
After frequenting this forum for quite some time, I have finally decided to take the plunge by joining in.
Since my youth, I flirted with the odd fountain pen here and there, however my efforts to produce calligraphic works of art were impeded by inked shirt cuffs, and deplorable handwriting.
Eventually, I imposed a very conscious effort to improve upon my handwritting, before swiftly trialling the fountain pen again. This was met with far greater results - my handwritting ceased to resemble a motley of arabic and kanji, and became legible english.
I owe a lot to the Pilot Hi-Tecpoint V5 for this; but it was the Lamy Safari that helped me sustain results, and prolonged what would have become yet another foray into the world of fountain penmanship.
I hope to learn a lot from this forum, and contribute with the bits and pieces I pick up along the way. Granted, it shall be fun.
