My 75th anniversary 146 has a tight piston. I just so happen to have some silicone grease. How do I fix this problem? Lube up the threads on the piston and work it in? Any help would be appreciated.

You have to have a special tool to remove the piston mechanism and then you can put the silicone grease on the piston seal and reinstall. Most good pen repair folks can do this or you can send it to MB Service Center. Whereabouts do you live? Perhaps I can recommend someone near you.
