How can I do to repair this old brave pen that my Gran'Pa used to write with ?

Bonjour !!

Repairing an inlaid nib seems to be difficult. I have more or less a similar problem with my PFM V.
Replacement of the nib or the nib assembly is the most common way to deal with damaged PFM nibs (so I am told) You could try penhome in UK
See this pic taken from their site

I do not know if they want to sell you a spare nib or nib assembly....

You could also buy a donor pen.

I also know from at least 1 source that there is some development going on to retip a PFM nib. And that sounds interesting, but no matured solution yet (as far as I am informed).

If you find a way, please inform me

In theory it can be repaired, but a replacement will be cheaper. I do not know anyone who would do this job. Nathan Tardif did one at one time, but he is in the ink business now.

The nib is held on by tabs that go through the plastic. Once the tabs are bent, they are weak. If you bend them back, they might (will) break off. The metal must be removed from the plastic part to retip.

If you can find a replacement hood and nib, my guess is that it will run around $100. A donor pen might be cheaper. Good luck.

Sheaffer no longer repairs PFM. They have not for many years.
A donor pen would be your best option.

hi

Your nib shows 18K. I may be wrong on this, but I thought PFM nibs are 14K?

thanks,

Talk to Sherrell Tyree at Ink-Pen.com she can do wonders with PFMs and usually has lots of parts from donor pens.
