I can't believe I'm writing this post; it's like someone else is moving my fingers on the keyboard. I don't even know what a pen show is, or what goes on there! But, as I sink deeper and deeper into this inky quicksand, I'm wondering, Is there a pen show in Minneapolis/St. Paul? Or is the closest one in Chicago (I'm assuming there must be one there).

There is not a Minnesota Pen Show and Chicago is the closest. There are, however, numerous pen collectors here. There is even a Pen Enthusiasts Club. I have not been to any meetings, but will do so as family events allow. The name of the Club is the Pen Enthusiasts Northern Society and they meet once a month in St. Paul. Possibly a member will chime in with more information.

Do you know if "PENS" has a web site?

I am not aware that they have a website. I visited Mike Carter's great pen store in Crystal a few weeks ago and he is a member. You might check with him as he mentioned that one should mention to a current member that they want to attend a meeting. He would be a good person to check with regarding when the next meeting is and what the correct protocol for attending might be. He also has a very nice pen shop with lots of new and vintage pens. It is hard for me to make Friday evening meetings as I always seem to be coaching something, but let me know how it goes if you do attend. I hope to join at some point as well.
