I tuned up recently one Triumph nib from a Snorkel and one Balance nib. The results are pretty good. I thought it would be harder.

Bernardo - I'm interested in fine tuning a balance. Do the nib and feeder pull out, screw out. I must work on the nib and adjust the ink flow. Any ideas ?

The safest way to remove the nib and feeder from a standard balance with an open type nib, is to pull the whole section out, place the nib in a knock-out block and carefully remove them (from the back) with a hammer and flat punch. Nib can often be removed by itself by wiggling it loose from between the section and feed. You can buy a knock out block but I made one with a two inch thick, close grained piece of wood with various size holes drilled through it.
