I was given a 144 around christmas as a gift. I love the pen, but even though it's the nicest of my collection, I always get ink on my fingers from using it. Today I was fed up and went looking for the problem. I had assumed it was just ink from the cap getting onto the section, but after wiping it clean I applied a little pressure on the section and saw some ink pool up on the trim ring circled in the image.


My question is if this is something I can fix or if it needs to be sent in to Mont Blanc. Also if anyone knows the ballpark price on a repair like this, I'd appreciate it.
