Here are four pens looking for new homes: either they need restoration that I don't have the expertise or desire to undertake, or they just don't suit my hand. All show signs of at least light wear, but write tolerably well (see sample below).
From left to right in the first three pictures (apologies for quality thereof), we have the following lineup:
1. Waterman Ideal: 14kt nib, some flex, date unknown, made in Canada, needs restoration
2. Eagle: wet writer, feels smooth to me, loose nib & feed (but usable), needs restoration
3. Formerly mysterious Parker [identified as a Reflex by Jimmy James -- thanks!]: date and provenance unknown, cheapie user, crack in cap clumsily glued (and subsequently recracked) by hamfisted Italicist, but nib feels pretty good, better than...
4. Parker 45: acquired recently on the Bay, nib used to be quite objectionable but much improved after flossing
The first two might be good for practicing repairs. Feel free to send a PM with just about anything sane that you wish as far as a trade is concerned: one humble workaday pen that I actually use would be of considerably more value to me than four that I don't use. I'm partial to medium, fine, & italic nibs, but no flexers, please. Thanks for looking.
