My buddy swears that there was a Red/Black Waterman reissue in hard rubber. What is this pen? Also he told me there was an LE with a Carene/Edson style nib which had a super small section

tODAY I SAW A RED BLACK RIPPLE FOUNTAIN PEN, I'M SURE IT WAS OLD STOCK( 1990'S). TURNING THE BOTTOM OF THE PEN SLOWLY RAISED THE KNIB FOR REMOVAL . AND INSERTION OF CARTRIGE. IT WAS VERY COOL. YOU PLACED THE CARTRIGE IN AN THE KNIB AND TURNED THE BOTTOM AND THE KNIB SLOWING LOWERED AND LOCKED IN PLACE.
GOLD NIB !
ANY INFO?

Yup that's the pen. There is no section per se, the cap has its own click mechanism and the "section" is all smooth

Are you talking about the Liaison? It came out in the 90s, and there was a model that was more of an orange/brown mix; I think it was Ebonite? Check out www.joon.com to see some pics.
