Sorry,
I hit the wrong picture.

I need a band for the cap for a 5.5" Green Flat top. Is this pen worth going to a jeweler to make a new band?

Or you could grab a cap band from a donor cap and ask Ron Zorn to swage it on smile.gif

Hmmmm. Pretty sure i have a tray of junker caps lying around here somewhere.

Of course, then the question is, "is it worth paying Isaacson for a spare cap-band and Ron to swage it onto my pen".

I would start out by trying to make contact with any of the repairmen who do a fair traffic in vintage repairs. Ron Zorn, Richard Binder, Aaron at Pentiques, and Bert Heiserman at Pen Haven all come to mind at the moment. I'm sure I've forgotten someone, so this list is by no means exhaustive. Often people who do repairs on large volumes of old pens will have parts around.
