I have a question about the Van Gogn series. The Maxis and Midis are similar in size it seems. What is the main difference between the two? Do they hold different levels of ink? The mini i know is too small. Does the maxi have the same nib as the Opera Club? And the Midi has a smaller sized nib... is that it?

They all use the same size convertor. My Maxis have gold, but I heard the newer pens are switching to steel, but think [don't know for sure] that it's the Midis and Minis. My Maxi nibs [gold] are an inch long and the pens run nearly 7 inches posted. I don't have an Opera to compare them to.

Yes, they have the same nib.

The Midi version has steel small nib (not 14 Kt gold), although I saw also a version with small 14 Kt gold nib. Maybe they have been produced with different nibs for different countries.

I don't know the Van Gogn series. Are they used to torture someone? In which way?
