Hi Everyone,

I am a fountain pen user and have been using them since I started at school, however I am new to this forum and look forward to learning from people that have been using and collection FP's much longer then myself. I have always been fascinated by fountain pens. I am 43 years old now and have several pens which include Lamy, Waterman, Parker, Mont Blanc and some pens from Japan and China. My current favourite pen is the Parker 100 which I recently purchased and use it with dark blue Parker Quinck ink.

Welcome! As a fellow Londoner, can you recommend any good pen shops?

Selfridges has a good selection, but I am yet to find a shop that sets me at ease and really know their pen collection.

Harrods on Oxford Street has a nice selection of pens and also stationery and try the pen shop. I usally go to the branch at Liverpool treet Staion. They are expensive but what you can do is try out the pens before purchasing them and if you like the feel of a pen then you can look for a better price on the internet.
