Well I've looked up some of the threads on flow difficulties with this pen - but - even after increasing the channel flows, inspecting the nib and using different inks this pen won't write without some kind of preassure in the converter. It will work fine with a twist on the converter - but a number of lines later - no ink.

The Liason nib unit seems to have a complicated ink delivery system. There are so many series of fins that it's surprising the ink actually gets to the nib but it does.

If anyone has some good ideas let know. I might try the thinnest of all inks that is mentioned on the foru from time to time but can't recall the name at present.

Thanks everybody - I'm stumped wallbash.gif

Sounds like you've done a lot so I can't add much more beyond seeing a nibmeister. Is it a new pen or have you been using it for a while and all of a sudden it started to misbehave? Try a good nib soak and shake it not a paper towel like a thermometer. Try carts. I'd try Waterman. Try PR Tanzanite - the laxative of inks. Mine has always flowed great, super reliable, always Fl Blue, but I always use carts. Good luck.

My Liaison has the same problem. I wish Waterman had kept the nib and feed from the Man 100 when they shifted over to the Liaison design. The rest of the pen is fine -- just the nib and feed seem inferior.

thanks all - I'm goingto give Carts a try again, and order some Tanzanite. There are some Liasons writing just fine - but I invested a lot into this pen - really too bad. Disappointing for a Waterman.
