Well... After sending a faulty Cartier Pasha back to world lux I was a little bit put off on fountain pens. I decided to give them another try and Im quite glad I did. I purchased a Waterman Exception night & day with platinum trim with a fine nib from The Vancouver Pen. Iam totally smitten with this beauty, it is such a dressy/classy looking pen. When I got home with the pen I immidiately put a florida blue cartridge in it and it starting writing, No skipping on the downstrokes or anything bad. For a fine nib it is exceptionally smooth(pun intended). My one and only complaint is that when the cap snaps on it doesn't feel quite as nice as other snap caps I've used. This is not such a big deal but down the road could become problematic. I was going to post some pictures but lost the usb cable for my camera. Im thinking that my next pen purchase will be the Edson in diamond black.
