Can someone with a Pel 100 and a 400 please take a picture of them side-by-side, capped and not? I'm looking for a direct size comparison. Thank you, exceedingly!

Left to right are a Pelikan 100, a 400, and for kicks, a 100N.

Please excuse the fact that the 400 has yet to be customized. biggrin.gif

I like the finish on the 100... it looks like some of the fancy burl woods I use for my better grade pens... sweet looking pen... what price range are they...

Hi Tom,

The binde (sleeve) on that 100 is made from a piece of vintage mottled hard rubber. And I agree, it does look a lot like burl.
The common 100's (and 100N's) range from about $150-275 on ebay and the fs boards. Rick Propas usually has a bunch of nice pens that are fully restored, but they're quite a bit more.
Once you get past the most common pens, the less common ones see a dramatic increase in price.
