I have no shortage of pen cases, at least 6 at the last count, but they are all leather and boring and none of them like the Danitrio Mikado or even some of my other larger pens. I wanted something different and as my better half is a bit of a whizz with a sewing machine I asked if I got some material and came up with a design, if by some magic a pen case might evolve.

I wanted something absolutely unique so I picked the most colourful material in the shop and matched it with black material. This is what we ended up with. What do you think?

As this is in the review section I supposed that I ought to give it a mark! 9.5 out of 10

Andy, I think that's very nice. Actually, I like it way better than very nice but don't know how to express it. That would be perfect in my application of toting my writing materials around in a briefcase when I'm on the move too. Right now I wrap the pens I take along in my custom, handmade paper towel and bubble wrap case. The better half done good!

Andy, that's great! I love the Halloween-themed fabric. Very cool.

Thanks a lot for the kind comments.

Of course I am now looking to improve on the design so have come up with some new measurements. The I started to think, wouldn't it be nice to have a notebook cover in this stuff? I then realised that it had gone too far so I went back to polishing the pens!
