Full Version: Hello from rainy Massachusetts
I've been collecting fountain pens since 1997. Have used them since I was in high school I've visited a couple of other pensites from time to time and ended up here because you all came highly recommended by some of my pen pals. Though I'm not a fountain pen purist (I use pencils to mark my music!), I find that fountain pens are the only writing instruments I use on a regular basis. So much fun! And I'm so good at getting ink on myself when I fill them!

Like you, I will pick up a pencil and use is ocassionally, preferably a #3 lead pencil.

Nice to have you on board. I started collecting and using rather late myself. It's only been about 3 and a half years or so since I bought my second fountain pen. The first was in grade 6 or 7, a Sheaffer No Nonsense. It still works!

The word from the weather gurus is that we will have a snowy Thanksgiving in much of Mass. west of Boston. So tomorrow may mark the beginning of snow season for many of us.
