Hello All,

I have received today a nice CS 76 in red herringbone which is fitted with a #3 nib. The nib looks like it has been on the pen a long time.

Jonathan's Encyclopedia (Bless him! for that and all his other kindnesses) tells me that it should have a #5 nib although he admits in his text that his chart was prepared before he had completed his collection.

So, I think to myself, is it a variant original nib, a custom installation at first purchase or a later installation?

Having said all that it is a great nib and writes real purty If I find that it is not a correct nib I will probably just use it happily until I happen upon a spare #5.

Does anyone know of a CS 76 with an original #3 nib?
