Hello everyone, I just purchased an Osmiroid 75 w/ a shorthand nib. I hope to find Osmiroid nibs for calligraphy and other art projects. I have seen the brochure on Richard's site but the shorthand nib is not listed. The nib is silver color and says England. I was wondering if there is a larger variety of nibs in England? And is there any source for a complete listing of their nibs... I have been searching the internet and havn't found any sound information. Thus, any info. you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated...

I can't say with a firm assurance that it's not an Osmiroid point, but as far as I know, those were pretty uniform in being gold-plated steel. The materials sound very Esterbrook-like, but those were American and generally defined by their number. There's a couple of very serious UK pen scholars here, so I'm mainly extemporizing to bump this message in hopes that they'll spot it and respond.

Keep your eye out for Osmiroid nibs on Ebay, years ago I bid on the "mother load" of Osmiroid nibs and pens. Esterbrook nibs do work very well in the old Osmiroid pens.

Thank you Ernst & Steve. This whole network has been great help, even before I registered...
Sorry, I didn't mention that is DOES say Osmiroid on the nib. So I am sure it is Osmiroid, but I was wondering whether there were more nibs I might look for then the list on Richard's site.
