I've never used a boutique, and simply use mail to the Bethlehem PA USA service center, but I was in the King of Prussia mega-mall yesterday and saw an MB boutique is opening in the spring of 2008.

FYI

Hi Fred. My name is also Fred and I live near King of Prussia too. There already is a Montblanc store in the King of Prussia mall. It is in the Court building. However, Amazon has much better prices.

Regards,
Fred

Are you sure you're not thinking of Paradise Pens in the lower level of the Court?

It isn't a bad idea to get to know the people at these boutique's. They will get pens occasionally that have long been sold out and they sell at list prices. Get a Proust at list and you are going to make some serious money or be a very lucky owner. Plus the private sales are great, they occasionally sell pens at 50 to 75% off. Not special editions but some nice pens nontheless.
