In our never-ending quest to better serve the fountain pen community, and in anticipation of the launch of our new website (target date: March 3, 2008! ninja.gif ), the Pear Tree Pen Company proudly announces the availability of a new TOLL-FREE telephone number! 1-888-6789-PEN (six, seven, eight, nine, pen) - get it? roflmho.gif

I tried to come up with something that was easy to remember yet, at the same time, conveys the somewhat whimsical and light-hearted attitude that I strive to maintain fo the company. So how'd I do?

It's great! I also appreciate your participation in FPN and your search for feedback from the FPN community. I will see if I can check out your new website and perhaps find something to buy... rolleyes.gif

James, it's cute, but how's that going to fit in with your Partridge Family theme?

(Or am I the only sad individual who recognized the source of "Come On Get Happy!"?)

Sad? Most definitely not. How about exceptionally perceptive. Either that or "specially abled." You choose. smile.gif

I tend to think of it as an "unusual ability to recall melody."

Thus the theme from Harsh Realm going through my head.

It put a silly smile on my face. Even my memory should hold that one. thumbup.gif We need to check with his Mrs to see if he's half as adorable as David Cassidy. laugh.gif singing "I think I love you...." bunny01.gif

Good grief! Do I have to have another lyric writing contest for Partirdge Family songs? Which leads me to wonder, who can name the most Partridge family songs? I can only come up with a couple without resorting to checking iTunes:

"Point me in the direction of Albuquerque"
"Come On Get Happy"
"I Think I Love You"
"I Can Feel Your Hearrbeat"

-- that's all I could come up with off the top of my head.

Anyone?

I'd meant to say something yesterday.... I still hadn't bought the Visconti Travelling Ink Pot, the search that brought me here in the first place, and since I'm a sucker for puns, I called James yesterday and finally ordered one. Hurrah!

Wanted to say the transaction was easy, friendly... and the best price.

Soon I'll have the leetle travelleeng eenk pot een mai greedy leetle hands.

(I don't know why the goofy accent. Just cos.)

Anyway, yay!

They are wonderful. So far, I've only got one, then again I've only got one Netto, too.
