I want that little green Arabesque one so very, very much... Of course, I don't have the $2600 needed to buy it...

However, I'd settle for the blue Landscape... only $1600... anyone feeling generous? wink.gif

I've seen some of them(ones in the bottom photo) in person last time I was in Japan. They were beautiful, but they are HUGE biggrin.gif

Laura, the arabesque pattern is a "signature pattern" of Gen-emon Kiln, a famous Arita kiln.

I wouldn't mind one of the green ones myself or the koransha seikashiyunchin (I probably read the Hiragana wrong @@)

What a price tag though yikes.gif

Nibs.com has a page on them with bigger pics.

Very pretty! But won't they be too heavy for daily use?

They are beautiful pens, indeed. It comes in two basic models and each model in three designs. List prices in Japan are Y262500 and Y157500. If anyone visits a show soon, check out the Sailor table as I'm sure they will have some for sale. Perhaps, at sale prices.

Was able to briefly check one out recently and was impressed. Sailor is really pulling out the stops to create some of the most beautiful pens from Japan.
