Full Version: What Ever Happened to Corniche?

A little over a year ago, an individual posted material about a new series of inks that he was developing. He posted under the name Corniche. I don't recall the name of his ink company.

As I recall, one of his vendors abruptly increased the minimums to buy supplies. Other vendors had merchandise which didn't quite match specifications.

Anybody heard from him lately? Just curious.

This was Sean Colfer, who still has a webpage for "Colfer's Imperial Inks." The webpage indicates that the inks are ready for sale, but this is not correct. He reported about a year ago that he had been unable to get the dyes he needed from a supplier.

Before I read this, I ordered some ink from his webpage. He never answered my emails and refused to refund the money.

I don't know what he is doing now, but I do know that he should amend his webpage--and answer his email.

I remember him posting saying he refunded all prepaid orders. I got my money returned into my PayPal account as well as an email from him at the time.

I had paid by check and did not receive a refund. I received a message from him at the time stating that a refund would be sent however one never came. I presumed it to be an oversight. I'm ordering a couple of flavors of FPN ink and thought I might use the funds to purchase them.

I just looked at his profile and his last log in was almost a year ago. Hope all is well. He really didn't give me the impression he was out to scam anyone. Sorry about your situation.

he refunded my $. I know he was very disappointed that he couldn't make it happen. I paid by paypal though and that was probably much easier for him to handle in terms of refunds.

I wonder if Griz knows how to contact him. Corniche sent Griz several inks for evaluation.

Those ink samples were great-looking colors, also. It's a shame the arrangements fell through.

I paid by Paypal but he never refunded nor answered my emails. I just ordered off his webpage (which is still up saying he is taking orders!) without knowing that he had discontinued making his ink.
