Not sure if these belong here, but here goes.

This year, we will have many prototype maki-e on display. Some of these will eventually be made to regular line up. Last year I have few prototype pens on display and most of them were gone by Sunday, the public day. If you are going to LA show, please come see these pens in person, as maki-e pens are best in person.

Well, I see two people beat me to it, but still - I really like the peacock feathers.

If these babies ever came in a western B or BB, I might have to start saving...I just can't get into the needle nib sizes in the Asian pens

But they already do

Both in flexy B and stiff B, BB... Western width, and not Japanese width

Oh now that's info I could use!! For the uneducated, what would a peacock feather model with a BB run?

The retail is $5000... but no one pays retail... plus don't forget my lay away plan too, so they are all within reach.

I should add, the simpler designs show here retails $1000.
