I had seen this pen several times while visiting the wireless kiosk at Costco (I am a district manager of 3rd party distribution for a US wireless carrier) and decided to pick up this pen for my father after my wife gave me one of my own. This pen is a platinum Mont Black BP and i belive it is a 146. Mine is almost the same except that this model is slightly slimmer than the one that I have. Anyway, I have added some pictures below:

In the platinum line, looks like there's BPs in the Chopin, Mozart, and 146 line (which matches the gold trim lineup, actually).

How good's the price at Costco, though?

My guess is that it's the 164 in platinum. Doesn't seem to be as big and round as a 146 bp. ... but that could just be the photo

I agree that it is a 164. Also, that pouch appears to be a Boheme pouch. Be very careful using it with a 164 as the 164 is slightly too long for it and the zipper does have the potential to scratch the pen. Just my two cents.

I'm curious about the pricing here... I picked up an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean watch my my local Costco for several hundred below the going rate... this has my intrest piqued.

And Why oh Why won't MB release a 149 type pen in platinum trim?... /em grumbles.

The price was $199.99 + tax of course. So the consenus is that it is a 164? The one that my wife gave to does have a wider barrell. Would that be a 146?
