Did Sheaffer make a dip pen and if so what might be written on the nib or elsewhere?

Thanks Jon you and the thread helped alot. I seem to be pulled between dip pens and lever/plunger,old cartridge pens. Oh well, I have to spend my money on somthing since I have all the ham radio gear I will need.
