I recently picked up a couple of inexpensive vintage pens and wondered if anyone had any info about them.
Firstly, two NOS 1950s Gold Starry pens, in a beautiful red/copper finish which almost moves under different light.
I have heard that Gold Starry and Conway Stewart did work for each other, and these may be a product of such a collaboration, but can find very little info on the net.
I haven't taken pics yet (none that do them justice anyway!) but a pen very similar is on the Pendemonium website.

At the same time I got a small BHR safety pen, which is believed to have a similar history.

All the pens are great little writers, although the safety pen is more for notes due to a) it's small ink capacity and cool.gif size means it is not god to hold for long periods. But it is happily part of my everyday handbag contents!

When I get a decent pic I'll edit and bump this post, but couldn't wait to ask the initial question!
