My name is Jack, and I am a new member from Arlington, TX (future home of the Dallas Cowboys). I currently own three fountain pens, a Rotring Core (my first FP, and an ebay purchase), a Lamy Safari, and a Retro 51 Scriptmaster II. My everyday pen was a Lamy Studio until someone decided to "liberate" it from me at meeting on Wednesday.

The Retro 51 was purchased today as a replacement and as an everyday writer.

My current dream pen is an Omas Emotica, but I will have to sneak that one into the house (the wife objects to me spending $400 on a pen.

Welcome to FPN. You just missed the Dallas Fountain Pen Club meeting. It meets the first Wednesday of every even numbered month. Next is in April, although the location may be changing. FPN member Robertaia usually posts a notice about the upcoming meeting, so the week prior, bee on the lookout. If the meeting moves, it will be near the Galleria; if not, in Richardson at the Holiday Inn. Galleria location would be much closer for you (and for me, I drive from work in Lewisville).
