I have just recently purchased what was misrepresented as a some other, a Parker La Plume. I'm a college graduate in History so i like to think i have some sort of ability to research but this Pen has stretched my limits. I have only found one picture and the words LA PLUME in a few foot notes. It says made in France on the pen along with DOUBLE OR LAMINE on the cap which means double layered gold in french obviously. The problem however, is i have had no ability to find anything about the pen other than it. I have never seen one for sale, and the one sentence that i have found about it states that it is a considerably rare parker.

Does anyone know anything of this?

thank you all
Deirdre

hmm... parker la plume? Once I saw one of them. It was French made. I don't know why, I found Its look remarkably
similar to parker vs. I think it was from late 50's or early 60's. Single jeweled very small pen. I heard
from the owner (an experienced collector) that it was made only in France. It had hoop type converter like
p-180 or 21 super. I don't know whether it is rare, but one thing is certain that it did not enjoy very successful market run.
How does it perform?

Welcome to the FPN.

anyway, if you don't mind, how much did it cost? If I ever see one for sale I should have an idea:-)

take care.

Thank you--I have heard that it was often confused as either of those. It was the first pen I have purchased, I payed something like 56.00USD or so on ebay. However, as I am very inexperienced I wasnt sure if it is usual to fill vintage pens and use them although i would certainly like to.

Thank you.
