im interested in buying a parker 51 or flighter 51. id prefer a gold filled cap with the blue diamond, vacum fill, and preferably a fine nib for a regular 51.
Flighters were aerometric fillers only, and should not come with blue diamond clips IIRC.
Nice pens, I have one that carries an incredible BBB stub that seems only to write for leftie overwriters. And No it won't be going up for sale soon.
Cheers,
Sean

To my knowledge...
1. Parker 51 Flighters were complete stainless steel with the exception of one gold-filled cap-band and one gold arrow-clip. Finding one with a complete gold-filled cap would be impossible unless you bought a gold parker and swapped the caps.
2. Parker 51 Flighters contain only one cap-jewel and no blue diamond on the clip (which predates the Flighter).
3. Parker 51 Flighters were aerometric-fillers only.

This pen was never made.
As mentioned all Parker 51 Flighters are Aerometric fillers and will not have blue diamond caps or vac fillers...
I have only one for sale, but it has a Factory stub nib... not a fine...
