I recently purchased a Sheaffer desk set with a brass and marble base. The pen has been sent off to Sean {SMG} for a re-saccing and tune up and i would like to clean up the bas as it has a bit of pitting and general schmutz on the marble.
I was thinking of a brass cleaner for the metal parts but I am not sure what to use for the marble. There is still an original sticker on the side that I don't want to mess up but the tope could look better.
Any thoughts on cleaners, abrasives or polish?

Thank you

Philip

Philip;

Use 4 O grade steel wool and don't go over the sticker with it. It will clean off all of the dirt without leaving scratches - you actually get a decent amount of shine from the marble.
