Full Version: Name That Waterman

My dad recently handed down to me two of his fountain pens which he hasn't used in years. One of them is a Waterman. Somewhere along the line the box was lost and I cannot figure out what model this is. I know this was purchased years ago which makes it harder to find online. Anyone who is a Waterman fan might know what kind this is. I really like to pen and it writes beautifully. It has a generous medium nib and although it is heavy, the weight is evenly distributed. Hopefully my amateur pics will help.

Isn't that a Lauréat?

It looks like a Gentleman to me.

Looks like Gentleman - I believe these were made from 1974-1983.

Thanks everyone! Please keep your answers coming. For now, I will look further into the Gentleman.

Also curious. I still have the ballpoint (a very slender pen) version of this pen, having ruined the nib on the FP. Purchased them in the early 1990s. My wife has been using the ballpoint lately, which brought it to my attention.

It's a Gentleman. I have one just like it and it's definitely one of Waterman's better efforts---congratulations.

Thanks! It belonged to my dad and he gave to me as a gift recently. It writes a thick medium line and has a good weight. I'm really glad he passed it down to me thumbup.gif
