I'll have to see this one in person...On my monitor it looks more watermelon than canteloupe color!

The colour is not as red or saturated as I would picture a watermelon. I wrote "ripe cantaloupe" in the review, but an even better way to describe it is the colour of the pulp of red grapefruit (pomelos) with a slight orange tinge. I have no idea why I'm using fruits to describe this colour -- but it seems appropriate for some reason. Hope that helps.
